We have been generously supported by several Melbourne based businesses this year – bringing fabulous variety to our Mother’s Day Stall! We thank the following businesses for their support:
Elk – designers of original, contemporary fashion and jewellery. We have sourced a fabulous selection of Elk bracelets and brooches.
Maisey Candles – designed locally in Melbourne from recipes handed down several generations. These mini natural soy candles come in a variety of scents!
Robert Gordon Pottery – hand crafted pottery and homewares.
The Woodsfolk Family Store, Hawthorn – pastel planter pots.
We also thank Kerrie Bourne, Honey Honey Creations; and Isabella Patterson, Home by Tribal; for their ongoing support of our Mother’s Day events – donating hand crafted wood coasters and gift bags for our stall as well as donating gifts for the Mother’s Day Drinks raffle.

Our annual Lapathon is a very popular event and every student actively participates to get fit and help raise money for our school.
This year the funds raised will go towards our Grounds Masterplan which we hope to commence later this year. The Lapathon is one of our biggest fundraisers for the year and we are asking all students & interested parents to collect sponsorship pledges from family and friends.
On the day, students & parents will have 45 minutes to run and/or walk as many laps as possible around the track at St James Oval. As a rough guide, students can complete between 10 – 20 laps. F-2 students will run around the St James Park oval whilst the Gr 3-6 students & parents will run a slightly longer course around St James Park.
Prizes this year will be awarded to:
- The family who raises the most funds
- The children who complete the most laps from each level
- The family who complete the most laps
- The ‘best’ dressed student
The winners will be announced at Assembly. It is a great morning and we encourage parents to come to the school from 11:00am and participate or join us in cheering the children on!
Remember to wear your HOUSE COLOURS! Go crazy with top-to-toe colour and we look forward to having some fun!
